Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA Digital Illusions CE and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

The game is a direct prequel to Battlefield: Bad Company and was announced at one of Electronic Arts' earnings conferences[7] and was showcased for the first time at E3 2009. The game was released worldwide in March 2010.
